"This historic photograph captures the moment Concorde 01, registration number G-AXDN, takes off from Filton Airfield for its maiden flight on March 2, 1969. Concorde, a supersonic passenger airliner, was a groundbreaking achievement in aviation engineering and design. The sleek, delta-winged Concorde was a marvel of modern engineering, with advanced materials such as titanium and aluminum alloys used in its construction. The first flight of Concorde 01 from Filton Airfield, near Bristol, England, was a significant milestone in the development of this iconic aircraft.
