Theobroma, derived from the Greek words "theo" meaning god and "broma" meaning food, aptly reflects the divine status this plant held for ancient civilizations. The cacao tree, native to the tropical regions of Central and South America, has been cultivated for over 3,000 years. Theobroma Cacao bears large, oblong, and bright-yellow fruits, each containing 30-60 cacao beans.
