Delivered on the 19th of March, 1951, the Auster T.7 served in the British aviation scene until it was written off on the 26th of January, 1960. After undergoing extensive repair and conversion processes, the aircraft was reborn as Beagle A.61 Terrier series 2 G-ASAK. The history of this aircraft does not end in the United Kingdom, as it was later sold to France and registered as F-AZTJ. Its journey continued when it was acquired by Hassfurt, Germany, where it was given the registration number D-EZTJ.
