The image is taken from an illustration by Desire Bois, published in Edward Step's "Favourite Flowers of Garden and Greenhouse" in 1896 by Frederick Warne in London. The Weddell's Palm is native to the tropical regions of the Americas, specifically the Caribbean and Central America.
