This photograph showcases the historic Queens Head Public House, located in the heart of East Mitcham, Surrey (CR4 4LA). The image, taken from the left side, reveals the pub's charming facade with its distinctive red brick exterior and ornate wooden sign, bearing the iconic image of a regal queen's head. The Queens Head, a beloved establishment in the community, was known for its warm and inviting atmosphere, drawing locals and visitors alike for a pint or a hearty meal. Unfortunately, as of July 2018, the Queens Head Public House stood closed and boarded up, a sight that saddened many in the community. The pub, which was not affiliated with the Crowley Company, had been a cherished part of East Mitcham's history for many years. The building, with its rich character and history, still stands today, a reminder of the vibrant past and the hope for a future reopening. This photograph serves as a poignant reminder of the Queens Head Public House and the memories it holds for the people of East Mitcham.
