The daughters of Lady Zia (née Princess Zia of Greece and Denmark) and Sir Harold Wernher, they are also grand-daughters of Grand Duke Michael of Russia. Myra Wernher, depicted on the top left of the image, would go on to marry Major Sir David Butter in 1946. She became a close friend of the Duke of Edinburgh and was known for her involvement in London society.
