First page of a letter dated 28 November 1915 from Albert Auerbach of the Royal Fusiliers to his sister Lucy from on board RMS Olympic, White Star Line. The ship was transporting Albert and his fellow-soldiers to Gallipoli, to help with evacuation operations. For censorship purposes, in case the letter got into enemy hands, the name of the ship has been cut and removed from the letterhead. Date: 1915
