At the center, a Mosasaur, an extinct, snakelike marine reptile, glides gracefully through the water. Mosasaurs were likely the giant sea monitor lizards of their time, reaching lengths of up to 50 feet. To the left, a Pterosaur, specifically a Pteranodon, takes flight above the water.
