GLC-LFB Eastern Command Control Unit
The GLC-LFB was created on 1 April 1965. A series of photos was commissioned of each type of fire engine, either within or absorbed into the enlarged London Fire Brigade. The Brigade was divided into three Command areas, Northern, Eastern and Southern, each with a Command Headquarters which had a Command major control unit stationed at it. Additionally a further major control unit was stationed at Lambeth, Brigade HQ.
