Born on March 23, 1892, in rural Georgia, Jesse was discovered by a traveling salesman at the age of three, who was astounded by the boy's remarkable ability to recite poetry and play the violin. By the age of five, Little Boy Blue had already performed before President Theodore Roosevelt and the British Royal Family. He toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, mesmerizing audiences with his prodigious talents.
