Isabella d'Este, Countess of Mantua, is depicted in this stunning 16th-century painting by Lorenzo Costa, expertly recreated in this handcolored lithograph by E. Lechevallier-Chevignard, L. Flameng, F. Laguillermie, and published in Georges Duplessis's "Costumes historiques des XVIe, XVIIe et XVIIIe siecles" (Historical costumes of the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries) in Paris, 1867.
