Heinrich, Count von Bruhl (1700-1763): A German Statesman of the 18th Century This beautifully colored engraving depicts Heinrich von Bruhl, a prominent German statesman of the 18th century. Born in Saxony, Bruhl rose to prominence in the courts of Poland and Saxony, becoming a favorite of King Augustus III of Poland and Elector of Saxony.
