This intriguing handcolored copperplate engraving, taken from Friedrich Bertuch's Bilderbuch fur Kinder (Picture Book for Children), published in Weimar in 1798, showcases two fascinating insects: the European grain moth (Nemapogon granella) and the common bed bug (Cimex lectularius).
