Prince Eugene of Savoy, born Eugenio Giovanni Maria Gaetano Alphonso di Savoia (1663-1736), was a renowned military commander and politician who played a significant role in European politics during the late 17th and early 18th centuries, primarily serving the Austrian Habsburg monarchy.
