Despite encountering an ancient officer who doubles as a naturalist, our clever cat manages to evade his watchful eye. The following day proves to be quite eventful as he explores and interacts mischievously with various specimens found onboard. However, trouble arises when our adventurous cat crosses paths with the captain's parrot. A comical clash ensues between these two feisty creatures, leading to amusing consequences for both parties involved. Undeterred by this encounter, our determined feline then sets its sights on capturing a gull but finds itself disappointed when the bird has other plans. Eventually discovered and hauled back onto the ship, our drenched hero is wrung out like wet laundry before being thrown up onto the awning to dry off. Finally exhausted from his nautical adventures, our resourceful cat decides it's time for some rest and relaxation. After trying out different spots including a Stilton cheese wheel (to no avail), he ultimately settles down inside an unlikely hiding place - a cocked-hat-box that defies tidiness.
