The dimensions of this print are approximately 10 9/16 x 7 11/16 inches (26.8 x19.5 cm), cropped within the plate mark on both sides. The ewer itself features a unique handle in the shape of two intricately designed snakes that emerge from its head, reminiscent of Medusa's serpentine locks. The body of the ewer is divided into three friezes: an upper frieze adorned with masks and a bulbous middle frieze depicting a scene of battle among sea gods.
