This print captures the Aston Hall Gateway in Birmingham, taken by George Bernard Mason in 1941. The image showcases the grandeur of this Jacobean country house's entrance, with its magnificent archway and gate lodges standing proudly against the backdrop of Aston Park. Sadly, this gateway and its accompanying lodges met their demise sometime between the late 1960s and early 1970s when they were demolished.
