Staircase at Lands End House, Beggars Hill Road, Charvil, Berkshire, 5 March 1935. Millar & Harris cellulose nitrate negative. The photographers make superlative use of light and shade to create an expressionistic view of the staircase at Lands End House. The house was built in 1935 and designed by architect Guy Morgan for the aircraft manufacturer Frederick George Miles.
