This photograph was taken during the filming of Brannigan, directed by Richard Attenborough. Shots were filmed at St Thomas Hospital and John Wayne along with his co-star, Judy Geeson, and the director were getting to know the site. It shows various members of staff who worked on the Laing building contract at the hospital and John Wayne is seen shaking the hand of the projects manager, D Upton
