Laurel and Hardy statue, Coronation Hall, Ulverston, Cumbria, 2009. Known locally as The Coro, Ulverstons Coronation Hall was built in the 1910s in commemoration of the coronation of King George V. It is the premier arts venue in southern Cumbria. Standing outside the entrance is a statue by Graham Ibbeson depicting the famous Anglo-American comedy duo Laurel and Hardy, which was unveiled by comedian Ken Dodd in April 2009.
