One of their early successes came in 1982 at the Sidecar TT when Bjorn Andersson and Lasse Nordstrom piloted their Windle Yamaha machine to victory. This win set the stage for future triumphs and established Windle Yamaha as a formidable competitor. In 1985, John Barker and Nick Cutmore continued Windle Yamaha's winning streak by clinching another victory at the Sidecar TT.
