William Frederick Cody, also known as "Buffalo Bill," was an American legend and showman who brought the wild west to life for audiences around the world. From leading the Congress of Rough Riders of the World in 1899, to performing in Buffalo Bill's Wild West shows since the 1880s, Cody's larger-than-life persona and wild west exploits captivated the public.
