Val d'Oise (95) is a picturesque department in the Ile-de-France region of France, and is known for its stunning landscapes and charming towns, which have inspired many renowned artists throughout history. One such artist was Claude Monet, who captured the beauty of Argenteuil in his paintings. In "Two red sailboats" from 1875, he skillfully depicted the vibrant colors and serene atmosphere of the regatta taking place on the Seine River.
