"Tim Dixon: A Legendary Sidecar Racer with a Passion for Speed" From the thrilling races at the TT to the classic events, it has left an indelible mark on the sidecar racing world. Partnering with some of the finest riders and teams, he has showcased his exceptional skills and unwavering determination. In 2008, alongside Alan Langton, Tim Dixon blazed through the Sidecar TT race aboard a Baker Yamaha, leaving spectators in awe of their synchronized maneuvers and lightning-fast speeds. Their performance was nothing short of extraordinary. The year 2010 saw Tim team up with Ian Salter under Norton Equippe's banner for the Pre TT Classic event. Together, they pushed boundaries and displayed remarkable teamwork that earned them well-deserved recognition among their peers. Rewinding back to 1982, it was Ivan Lintin snr who joined forces with Tim Dixon on a Kawasaki at Southern 100. The duo's chemistry on track was undeniable as they fearlessly tackled every twist and turn. Fast forward to 2012; once again partnering with Ian Salter under Norton Equipe's name in another Pre TT Classic race. This time around, their synergy reached new heights as they conquered challenges head-on while leaving competitors trailing behind. Not only did Tim excel in traditional sidecar racing but also proved his versatility by dominating different machines. In 2004's Sidecar TT race, he teamed up with Andy Kinsella on an Ireson Honda - showcasing his adaptability across various bike brands. Continuing their partnership into that same year's competition were Tony Elmer and Darren Marshall riding an Ireson Yamaha alongside Andy Kinsella & Tim Dixon (Ireson Honda). Their collective efforts demonstrated unparalleled teamwork amidst intense competition. Another memorable collaboration took place between Dick Hawes and Tim Dixon during both the Sidecar TT race aboard a Suzuki in 2007 and later in the Pre TT Classic event with a Busch BMW.
