"The Tay Bridge: A Tale of Triumph and Tragedy" The first Tay Bridge, constructed in Scotland in 1900, stood as an engineering marvel. Stretching from the south to Dundee, it was a testament to human ingenuity and innovation. The New Tay Viaduct, with its impressive General Elevation and General Plan, showcased the grandeur of this architectural masterpiece. However, not all was smooth sailing for the Tay Bridge.
