A moment frozen in history, King George VI expressed gratitude to British children for their unwavering resilience during challenging times. Their courage echoed through generations. On a crisp January morning in 1961, eager faces filled Jessop Primary School in Herne Hill. Each step taken symbolized a thirst for knowledge and an unyielding determination to shape their own destinies.
