ST. Thérèse Sacristan: A Humble Servant in Art and Faith - From the sacred festival of San Sebastián in 2012, we find Josácrist, the sacristan, depicted in various artworks. In one lithograph from the San Sebastián Festival, he is shown making a perilous descent from the bell tower of Posta in Rieti, a farmer at heart. Another lithograph, "A Tour through Bosnia and Herzegovina: Character Sketches," presents the sacristan as a pious figure. In early oil paintings, the sacristan accompanies the priest as he brings the Eucharist to a dying person, their solemn duty a testament to their devotion. The legend of El Sacristan Del Albaicin, published in 1854, tells of a sacristan being taken by the devil while Amina is carried away by an angel. Queen Mariana of Austria's portrait, painted around 1653, showcases the reverence and importance of the sacristan's role in the Catholic Church.
