"Fairy Revels and Extravagant Soirees: A Glimpse into the World of Revellers" Step back in time to the roaring twenties, where New Year's Eve parties were grand affairs filled with glitz and glamour. The Chelsea Arts Ball of 1923 transported revellers into a world of enchantment, as they danced the night away amidst whimsical fairy revels. During the era of Prohibition in 1918, revellers found creative ways to celebrate. The Prohibition Ball became an underground sensation, where secret venues hosted lavish gatherings that defied the law. Venturing across continents, we find ourselves at a Carnival in Venice captured by C. H. Shepard's artistry. Amidst masked revellers adorned with vibrant costumes and intricate masks, one can almost hear the joyous melodies filling the air. Closer to home, at Princess Mary Hospital Ball in 1922, guests embraced historical fashion as figures from 1820 came alive once again. Lady Terrington herself embodied Princess Charlotte while surrounded by fellow revellers who reveled in this nostalgic celebration. The Riviera Club witnessed another momentous occasion - a royal wedding toast in 1923. As glasses clinked and laughter echoed through elegant halls, revellers commemorated love and unity with utmost jubilation. At Skating Carnivals across town, pretty ladies donned their skates while leading Pierrots or playfully wielding brooms like graceful jesters on ice-covered stages. These spirited individuals brought smiles to all who watched them glide effortlessly across frozen landscapes. In Fish's masterpiece "The Rotunda at the Ritz, " we are transported to a bustling scene within this iconic establishment – an epitome of luxury during its time. Here too we find merry-makers rejoicing under opulent chandeliers as they celebrated life's joys together. No festive gathering would be complete without Batgers Crackers.
