Welsh women took charge too; they fearlessly became road builders in South Wales, breaking gender norms and leaving an indelible mark on history's path towards progress. At Tirpentwys Colliery, thrill-seeking miners rode drams deep into treacherous tunnels – daring adventurers defying gravity for fleeting moments before resuming their arduous tasks below ground. Yet not all tales from this era revolved around work alone. Harlequin and Columbine danced gracefully amidst orchestral melodies - reminding us that even amidst hardship, artistry thrived above ground.
