From iconic actors to beloved comedians, this occupation has seen it all. In 1970, Vincent Price, renowned actor turned television chef, delighted audiences with his culinary skills that were as captivating as his on-screen performances. Meanwhile, comedian Joe Baker found love in actress Anne Lloyd when they tied the knot in November 1965. Anne herself portrayed Staff Nurse Jane, a character who brought both humor and heart to the screen. The irreverent Peter Cook left audiences in stitches with his satirical wit. In July 1987, he was captured alongside topless model Maria Whittaker – a moment that perfectly encapsulated his unique brand of comedy. John Cleese, known for his impeccable timing and razor-sharp humor, graced LAP alongside wife Barbara Trentham on February 24th, 1981. Their presence added an extra dose of laughter to an already vibrant atmosphere. Alec Guinness joined forces with David Morcambe and Ernie Wise in November 1980 for what can only be described as comedy gold. Their collaboration showcased their incredible talent while leaving audiences begging for more laughs.
