"NRE Weslake: A Legacy of Speed and Triumph" For decades, it has been a name synonymous with speed, power, and triumph in the world of motorcycle racing. From the early 90s to recent years, this legendary brand has left an indelible mark on prestigious events such as the Manx Grand Prix and Pre TT Classic. In 1991, Bernie Wright showcased his exceptional skills aboard an NRE Weslake machine at the Senior Manx Grand Prix. With sheer determination and precision, he conquered challenging terrains and emerged victorious in a display of true racing prowess. Fast forward to 2010 when Paul Coward took center stage at the Pre TT Classic astride another remarkable NRE Weslake bike. The Coward family's connection with these machines continued as James Coward joined forces with Paul for an unforgettable performance that year. The following year saw Paul Coward return to the Pre TT Classic track once again on his trusty NRE Weslake steed. The crowd held their breath as he unleashed its raw power, leaving competitors trailing behind in awe. Notable riders like Tony Russell have also experienced the thrill of riding an NRE Weslake bike. In both 2015 and 2016 editions of the Pre TT Classic, Russell displayed immense skill and finesse while pushing these incredible machines to their limits. However, it wasn't just individual riders who made waves; Kobus Bouman & Nicolia Klinker formed a formidable duo atop their NRE Weslakes during multiple Pre TT Classics from 2015 to 2016. Their synchronized movements on these magnificent bikes were nothing short of poetry in motion. Throughout its storied history, it has consistently proven itself as a force to be reckoned with on race tracks worldwide. Its legacy lives on through passionate riders who continue to embrace its spirit - one fueled by adrenaline-fueled victories and the pursuit of greatness.
