A Winter's Tale - on board the motor ship Venus
A spread from The Tatler featuring photographs by Anthony Armstrong Jones and recorded the numerous passengers on board the "Venus" which was heading to Madeira in January 1952. Included on the boat were Mrs R. Warren with her daughter Virginia, Mrs L. Collins and Mrs D.E. Goddard, widow of the founder of Chessington Zoo.
