Louis XVIII, also known as Louis Stanislas Xavier, was the King of France from 1814 to 1824. He was the younger brother of King Louis XVI and became king after the fall of Napoleon Bonaparte. Louis XVIII's reign was marked by attempts to restore stability in France after years of revolution and war. Despite facing challenges such as political unrest and economic difficulties, he managed to establish a constitutional monarchy and promote a sense of national unity.
