Back in England during the Regency era, Taylor turned his attention towards capturing tradespeople in their element. Whether it was glass-blowing or colliery work, he depicted these professions with meticulous detail. Taylor's artistry also delved into significant moments in history. He immortalized Mary Queen of Scots' heart-wrenching experience as she witnessed David Rizzio's murder on that fateful day in 1791. Not confined by borders, this artist ventured beyond Europe too. Historical views of Asia Minor showcased his ability to transport viewers across continents and immerse them in distant lands.
