"Guardians of the Goal: A Century of Soccer's Unsung Heroes" From the early days of soccer to the modern era, goalies have been an integral part of the game. In 1900, Hull City goalkeeper stood tall between the posts, fearlessly defending his team's net against relentless attacks.
