General George Custer, also known as Lieutenant Washington and Capt. Custis (for Custer) U. S. A. , was a prominent figure in American history. Born on December 5, 1839, he rose to fame during the American Civil War where he displayed his bravery and leadership skills. One of the most iconic moments in General Custer's life was the Battle of Little Bighorn that took place on June 25-26, 1876, in Montana, USA.
