Formula Ford 2000: The EFDA Formula Ford 2000 Championship took place at Jyllandsring in Denmark on 22 August 1982, showcasing the thrilling world of open-wheel racing. Dennis Rushen, owner of Rushen Green Racing Team, eagerly held out the pit board to none other than race and championship winner Ayrton Senna Van Diemen. In a moment frozen in time, Ayrton Senna sat confidently inside the cockpit of the Rushen Green Racing Van Diemen RF82, his determination radiating from his eyes. This young Brazilian driver would go on to become one of the greatest legends in motorsport history. The British Formula Ford 2000 Championship also witnessed its fair share of fierce competition. John Finch showcased his skills behind the wheel as he maneuvered through corners with precision in his Ralt RT1 (CM24 2768). Meanwhile, Benn Tilley and Andrew Storer battled it out fiercely in their Modus M1 and Chevron B24 respectively (CJ11 1123). Samuel Harrison fearlessly pushed boundaries as he navigated every turn with finesse in his Lola T240 (CJ11 1110), while Robin Lackford displayed sheer determination driving his GRD272 (CJ11 1179). Robert Wainwright showcased speed and agility as he raced past competitors in his March762 (CJ11 1171), closely followed by Andy Smith's impressive performance in a March782 (CJ11 1104). Mark Goodyear and Richard Trott engaged in an exhilarating duel between their March75B and Chevron B43 respectively (CJ11 1100). Matthew Wurr demonstrated remarkable skill behind the wheel of a McLaren M10B (CJ11 1099), leaving spectators awestruck. These drivers embodied passion for speed, pushing themselves to their limits on every lap.
