During WWI in 1915, Kitchener once again summoned bravery through his posters urging recruitment; fingers pointed towards duty and sacrifice. Even boxing was not exempt from finger symbolism - ladies donned gloves in 1886 as they defied societal norms with each punch thrown. On stage at Hatfield's Forum Theatre in 1983, George Melly mesmerized audiences with flamboyant gestures accentuated by expressive fingers dancing across strings or keys. His artistry transcended boundaries set by mere words alone. And just like a drop of blood tells tales within its crimson hue, so do our fingertips bear witness to lives lived - etched with scars from battles fought or adorned with delicate henna patterns celebrating joyous occasions.
