Eric Bregazzi, a legendary sidecar racer, left an indelible mark on the Isle of Man TT races throughout his career. From 1972 to 1984, Bregazzi teamed up with his trusted partner Jimmy Creer to conquer the challenging course and thrill spectators with their remarkable performances. In 1972, riding the powerful Rumble BSA, Bregazzi and Creer showcased their skills in the 750 Sidecar TT. The duo's determination and talent were evident as they navigated through treacherous corners and pushed themselves to new limits. Over the years, Bregazzi continued to impress fans with his unwavering passion for racing. In 1974, aboard a Yamaha machine, he once again joined forces with Creer for another thrilling ride in the Sidecar TT. Their chemistry on track was undeniable as they fearlessly tackled every twist and turn. The partnership between Eric Bregazzi and Jimmy Creer reached its peak in 1979 when they competed under UMS Kawasaki's banner at the Sidecar TT. This race became one of their most memorable moments as they displayed exceptional teamwork and claimed victory amidst fierce competition. Bregazzi's dedication to racing extended beyond just one manufacturer or team. In later years, he rode Windle Yamaha machines in 1982 before switching back to Kawasaki alongside John Creer in 1978. These transitions demonstrated his versatility as a rider who could adapt seamlessly to different bikes while maintaining his competitive edge. Even after retiring from professional racing, Eric Bregazzi couldn't resist returning for special occasions like parade laps or classic laps around the iconic circuit. In both 2005 and 2007 events, he reunited with Jimmy Creer aboard Ireson Yamaha and then later on a custom-built Bregazzi Yamaha during these nostalgic rides that brought back cherished memories of past triumphs.
