Bugler: A Melodious Call to Duty The bugler, a symbol of bravery and honor, has played an integral role in various historical events. From the Kings Own Scottish Borderers to the Boy Drummer of The South Wales Borderers, these young musicians have left their mark on history. One such notable bugler was SIEUR D IBERVILLE (1661-1706). Pierre Le Moyne, Sieur d Iberville, a French-Canadian soldier who fearlessly led his troops into battle. His resounding bugle calls echoed through the battlefield, inspiring his comrades to fight with unwavering determination. In the world of theater, Tess became the first authentic stage production featuring a bugler. The enchanting melodies from this talented musician added depth and emotion to every scene. The Black Watch proudly boasted Private Drummers, Piper and Buglers among its ranks. Their synchronized beats created an atmosphere of discipline and unity that resonated throughout their regiment.
