Brian Richards is a legendary motorcycle racer, known for his impressive performances in various TT races and Grand Prix events. In 1968, riding the Bultaco, he showcased his skills at the Production TT. Two years earlier, in 1966, he dominated the Ultra Lightweight TT on a Honda bike. Not one to be confined to a single brand, Brian also excelled on DMW motorcycles during the 1965 Lightweight TT. Throughout his career, Brian continued to leave an indelible mark on the racing world. In 1987, he triumphed at the Classic Manx Grand Prix with Seeley machinery. This victory was reminiscent of his earlier success in 1980 when he participated in a thrilling parade lap aboard an AJS during the prestigious TT event. The year 1967 proved fruitful for Brian as he clinched victories in both Ultra Lightweight and Lightweight categories astride Bultaco motorcycles. His exceptional talent and versatility were further highlighted by another win at Junior Manx Grand Prix in 1962 while riding an AJS. As time went on, Brian's passion for racing remained unwavering. He returned to compete in classic events such as the Junior Classic Manx Grand Prix (1991) and Senior Classic Manx Grand Prix (1986), showcasing his enduring love for speed and adrenaline. In addition to his numerous successes across different brands and eras of racing history, Brian demonstrated remarkable skill when he conquered the Senior TT race aboard a Suzuki bike in 1988.
