Albrecht Durers Rhinoceros

An Indian rhinoceros, is the largest of the Asian species, as depicted by Albrecht Durer. It has a thick, dark grey hide, which folds like armour. Durer based his famous image on a written description and a rough sketch, so his version is somewhat inaccurate
