Angelic - Tunnel View Point

Yosemite National Park is in Californiaa€™s Sierra Nevada mountains. Ita€™s famed for its giant, ancient sequoia trees, and for Tunnel View, the iconic vista of towering Bridalveil Fall and the granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome. In Yosemite Village are shops, restaurants, lodging, the Yosemite Museum and the Ansel Adams Gallery, with prints of the photographera€™s renowned black-and-white landscapes of the area.
This scenic view of El Capitan was taken at the Tunnel View point. It overlooks on State Route 41 in Yosemite National Park. The iconic and expansive view of Yosemite Valley from the view point have been seen and documented by visitors since it opened in 1933. Tunnel View provides one of the most famous views of Yosemite Valley. From here, visitors can see El Capitan and Bridalveil Fall rising during the correct season from Yosemite Valley, with Half Dome in the background. This viewpoint is at the east end of the Wawona Tunnel along the Wawona Road (Highway 41)
