"Exploring the Exotic: A Glimpse into 1710-1789's Fascinating Fauna" Step back in time to the era of 1710-1789, where a world teeming with captivating creatures awaited discovery. Amongst them, the vibrant Psittacula eupatria, commonly known as the Alexandrine parakeet, adorned forests with its striking plumage and melodious calls. Its colorful counterpart, Gracula religiosa indica or lesser hill myna, captivated onlookers with its remarkable ability to mimic human speech. In this diverse landscape, one could also encounter Centropus sinensis - the greater coucal - an elegant bird renowned for its distinctive call that echoed through lush greenery.
