Super Moon over Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor), Berlin, Germany

The Brandenburg Gate (German: Brandenburger Tor) is an 18th-century neoclassical monument in Berlin, built on the orders of Prussian king Frederick William II after the (temporarily) successful restoration of order during the early Batavian Revolution. One of the best-known landmarks of Germany, it was built on the site of a former city gate that marked the start of the road from Berlin to the town of Brandenburg an der Havel, which used to be capital of the Margraviate of Brandenburg

EDITORS COMMENTS
Captured in this stunning print is the ethereal beauty of a Super Moon illuminating the iconic Brandenburg Gate, located in Berlin, Germany. The gate itself stands as a testament to history and architectural brilliance, with its neoclassical design dating back to the 18th century. Commissioned by Prussian king Frederick William II after successfully restoring order during the Batavian Revolution, it has become one of Germany's most recognizable landmarks. The Super Moon adds an enchanting touch to this already magnificent scene. Its radiant glow casts a soft light over the gate and surrounding area, creating an atmosphere of awe and wonder. As we gaze upon this image, we are reminded of both the grandeur of nature and human achievement. The Brandenburg Gate holds significant historical importance as well. It was built on the site where a former city gate once stood, marking the beginning of the road from Berlin to Brandenburg an der Havel - once capital of Margraviate of Brandenburg. Danita Delimont's masterful capture allows us to experience this breathtaking moment firsthand. Whether displayed in your home or office space, this print serves as a reminder that even amidst bustling cities and towering monuments, nature can still captivate our hearts.
