The image, titled "MS Hunter 229 f. 6r November" transports us to a world of medieval artistry and religious devotion. In this particular scene, we are presented with two distinct depictions. On the left side of the page, we witness an intriguing portrayal of November's activities. A swineherd is depicted wearing a slate-colored cloak adorned with red and white borders. He skillfully knocks down acorns using a forked stick for three brown pigs gathered beneath a conventional tree. On the right side of the page, we encounter an astrological symbol representing Sagittarius. The Centaur figure is elegantly illustrated wearing a gold-rimmed petasus in red and white hues while donning a tufted girdle in matching colors. With precision and grace, he aims his silver-headed arrow backward on his pristine white bow. The entire manuscript contains various sections such as Kalendarivm (calendar), Psalterivm (psalms), Litania (litany), Preces Qvaedam (certain prayers). Originally known as York Psalter before acquiring its current name - Hunterian Psalter - it now resides within Glasgow University Library's prestigious collection in Scotland.
