EDITORS COMMENTS
Great moment in Everton Football Club history captured in this print as Marouane Fellaini scores the team's first goal against Bolton Wanderers during the Barclays Premier League match at Reebok Stadium on October 29,2008. The Belgian midfielder, who had only joined Everton from Standard Liège in the summer of 2008, was making his eighth appearance for the Toffees in the league. The goal came in the 23rd minute, following a corner kick delivered by Leighton Baines. Fellaini rose above the Bolton defense to powerfully head the ball past goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen, sending the traveling Everton fans into raptures. The goal marked a turning point in the game, with Everton going on to win 2-1 and climb up the league table. Fellaini's goal was a testament to his physical prowess and aerial ability, making him an instant fan favorite at Goodison Park. The midfielder went on to become a key player for Everton, making over 200 appearances for the club and scoring 13 goals in all competitions. This photo print, taken by renowned sports photographer Keith Williams, captures the raw emotion and excitement of the moment as Fellaini celebrates with his teammates, with the ecstatic Everton fans in the background. A great addition to any Everton Football Club memorabilia collection.
