Amidst the drizzle and dull weather at Silverstone Circuit in Towcester, Northamptonshire, England, the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) kicked off their season with the prestigious Pomeroy Trophy event on the 17th of February 2024. The Pomeroy Trophy, a beloved tradition since 1952, showcases a diverse range of cars from various eras and types. In this image, we find James Slater behind the wheel of the iconic Alpine Renault A 110, ready to tackle the challenges of the historic Grand Prix circuit. The Pomeroy Trophy event consists of a series of four auto-tests, followed by an exhilarating forty minutes of racing on the full circuit.
