Amidst the drizzle and dull weather at Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, England, the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) kicked off their season with the iconic Pomeroy Trophy event on the 17th of February, 2024. This esteemed competition, first held in 1952, showcases an array of cars from various eras and types, including Justin Maeers' stunning BMW Z4. The Pomeroy Trophy is renowned for its set of four auto-tests followed by forty minutes of racing on the full Grand Prix circuit. With three trophies up for grabs - the Pomeroy Trophy, Densham Trophy, Pomeroy Edwardian Trophy, and the Gordon Spice Cup - the competition was fierce. Justin Maeers, a dedicated motorsport enthusiast, navigated the BMW Z4 through the challenging auto-tests with finesse and speed.
