Amidst the drizzle and dull weather of Towcester, Northamptonshire, England, on the historic grounds of Silverstone, the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) kicked off their 2024 season with the much-anticipated Pomeroy Trophy event. The first of four auto-tests and forty minutes of racing on the full Grand Prix circuit attracted a diverse array of cars from all eras and types. In this image, we find Tony Kilby and his iconic Morgan Roadster, CJ13 4308, taking on the challenges of the course. The Pomeroy Trophy, established in 1952, is one of several awards presented at the event, including the Densham Trophy, Pomeroy Edwardian Trophy, Voiturette Trophy, and the Gordon Spice Cup.
